How to play

• Plunger: hold Space, Down, the Launch button or the lower part of the right-hand lane to pull it back, and let go to launch. A tap is a medium plunge; a full pull sends the ball right round the top. Land it in the marked top lane for a skill shot (5,000).
• M-I-X lanes: roll through the three top lanes to light them. A flipper press moves the lit lanes along. All three lit raises the bonus multiplier, up to x5.
• D-I-S-C targets: knock down all four for Double: every score counts twice for 20 seconds of play, and the left outlane’s kickback lights. The targets stand again when Double ends.
• The orbit: shoot up the left lane and round the top to play a track 1. The eighth track is the Encore: 25,000 points and, once a game, an extra ball.
• Bumpers are worth 100 and slingshots 10. Each ball has an eight-second ball saver. When a ball is lost you score a bonus of tracks × multiplier × 1,000.
• Keys: Z, Left or Left Shift for the left flipper; M, Right or Right Shift for the right; P or Escape pauses. Touch: the left and right halves of the table are the flippers, and both work together. Gamepad: LB or LT left, RB or RT right, A for the plunger (and the right flipper in play), Start pauses.
• The game pauses when you leave the page. Your best is kept in this browser.

Questions

How do I play on a phone?

Touch the left half of the table for the left flipper and the right half for the right one; both work at once. Hold the lower part of the lane on the right, or the Launch button, to pull the plunger back, then let go.

What’s the Encore?

Each time the ball goes up the left lane and right round the top it plays a track. The eighth track is the Encore: 25,000 points, the tracks start again, and the first time in a game you get an extra ball.

How do I get double points?

Knock down all four D-I-S-C drop targets. Every score doubles for 20 seconds of play and the kickback in the left outlane lights. The targets stand again when Double ends.

Where is my best score kept?

In this browser, on this device. Clearing the site’s data resets it. Nothing is sent anywhere.
