Merge PDF files
Put several PDFs together into one, in any order. It happens on your device: nothing is uploaded.
How to merge PDF
- Choose the PDFs to merge, or drop them anywhere on this page.
- Put them in order with the arrows. Add more at any time.
- Select Merge PDFs, then download the merged file.
Your files stay on your device
This tool runs inside your browser: your PDFs are processed on your device and never uploaded. Your browser enforces which servers the page may talk to, and none of them is sent your files. Here's how you can check. Once you've used it, it works offline too.
Questions
- Is there a limit on how many PDFs or pages?
- No set limit. The only limit is your device’s memory: phones usually manage a few hundred megabytes at once, computers far more.
- Are my PDFs uploaded?
- No. They are read and merged by your browser, on your device, and the merged PDF is saved straight back to it.
- What happens to bookmarks and forms?
- Pages, bookmarks, links between pages and form fields are all kept, with each file’s bookmarks one after another. The accessibility tags of tagged PDFs are not carried over yet.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- Remove the passwords first with Unlock PDF (you need to know them), merge, then protect the result with Protect PDF.
