- No. Unlock opens the PDF with the password you type, then saves a copy that doesn’t need it. It never tries to guess a password.
- What about PDFs that open but won’t let me print or copy?
- Those have no password to open them, only limits set by whoever made them. Unlock saves a copy without the limits. Only do this with documents you have the right to use that way.
- Do you see my password?
- No. The password and the PDF stay in this page on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
