Your files stay on your device

This tool runs inside your browser: your videos are processed on your device and never uploaded. Your browser enforces which servers the page may talk to, and none of them is sent your files. Here's how you can check. Once you've used it, it works offline too.

Questions

What happens to the sound?
Sped up, it plays faster and higher, like a record played too fast; slowed down, it’s slower and deeper. For most sped-up videos, leaving the sound out is the better choice.
Will slow motion be smooth?
It shows every frame the video has, for longer. A video recorded at 60 or more frames a second (most phones offer it, and slow-motion modes go higher) stays smooth at half speed; one at 30 looks steppier.
How do I make a time-lapse?
Choose 4× or 8× and leave the sound out. Frames are dropped evenly so the result plays smoothly at a normal frame rate.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. The speed is changed by your browser, on your device, and the result is saved straight back to it.
